CTC Grant Program

Planting and maintaining new trees is one of the core pillars of work at the Cleveland Tree Coalition. Each year, we aim to support as many plantings as possible. We specifically aim to plant trees in areas with low tree canopy. There are multiple ways we support tree plantings. We are currently looking to fund:

  • Community-based tree planting and maintenance projects like:

    • Large-scale plantings on private properties like businesses, churches, and schools

    • Residential planting projects

    • Public park and ROW plantings

    • Vacant lot plantings and “no-mow” pilot projects

  • Mature tree maintenance

  • Residential tree giveaways

  • Education and engagement projects
